Andaraya Group was founded in 1989 in Johor Bahru with just five employees and one clear purpose: to connect Malaysia's growing industrial sector with the workforce it needed to thrive.
What began as a focused manpower agency under the leadership of Dato' Sri Mohammad Ismail Bin Norbat — known widely as Haji Ismail — has since grown into one of Malaysia's most recognizable multi-industry groups. Over 37 years, we have expanded our services from recruitment to encompass foreign worker welfare, security, cleaning, cargo, construction, food & beverage, renewable energy, and more.
Today, Andaraya Group operates from 9+ branch offices spanning Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Melaka, Pasir Gudang, Pontian, and beyond, with a team of 150+ dedicated professionals committed to delivering excellence across every sector we serve.
Our founding philosophy — that businesses succeed when people are cared for — remains the guiding principle behind everything we do. From the foreign workers in our hostels to the clients we serve and the communities we operate in, people come first at Andaraya.
